Hi Fele, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My journey in esthetics started with wanting to feel confident in my own skin, and then grew to a love for helping people feel confident in their skin. What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion, and that passion led me to pursue esthetics training and build a career in the beauty and wellness industry.
I started Fresh Face by Fele with nothing but a treatment bed, a steamer, a vision, and the belief that clients deserved results-driven, customized care in a space where they felt truly seen. Over the years, I’ve grown from providing services in a small suite to becoming an esthetician, educator, and mentor for future professionals.
Today, Fresh Face by Fele is not just a treatment space; it’s a place where education, experience, and empowerment come together. I now offer advanced services, one-on-one training, and resources that support estheticians in building successful careers of their own. My goal has always been to blend clinical results with a warm, inclusive experience, and to continue expanding into a full resource hub for beauty professionals in my community.
My journey hasn’t been linear, but every step has shaped the business and educator I am today. I’m grateful for the clients, students, and opportunities that have allowed me to grow, evolve, and continue doing what I love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me and strengthened my purpose. Like many beauty professionals, I started with limited resources, juggling learning, working, and building a business all at once. There were times when I questioned myself, especially while navigating the inconsistencies of entrepreneurship, finding my niche, and building a loyal clientele from the ground up. I am new mom as well, and though I love every aspect of motherhood, even that is a challenge with being a present mother as well as showing up for my business.
I also faced the reality that being a solo esthetician means wearing every hat—service provider, marketer, educator, accountant, and therapist all in one. Balancing growth with burnout, maintaining consistency, and continuing my education while running a business were constant challenges.
But every setback pushed me to level up. The obstacles helped me refine my brand, strengthen my skills, create better systems, and become a more intentional educator. The road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been worth it, and each hurdle has made Fresh Face by Fele what it is today.

Fresh Face by Fele is a results-driven esthetics studio and education space where skincare, wellness, and professional development come together. I specialize in corrective and preventative skincare, advanced treatments, and a client experience that feels both clinical and comforting. I’m known for creating customized treatments that focus on long-term skin health—not quick fixes—while making every client feel seen, supported, and cared for.
What truly sets my brand apart is the combination of professional expertise and intentional connection. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all skincare. Every service is tailored to the client’s goals, lifestyle, and skin needs, and I take the time to educate them so they understand their skin—not just the treatment.
In addition to client services, I’m also an esthetics instructor and mentor. I offer one-on-one training, hands-on skill development, and resources for new and aspiring estheticians. My goal is to help professionals feel confident, capable, and prepared to succeed in this industry. I’m currently working on expanding into a broader educational hub with more to come, so stay on the lookout for any updates.

Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is witnessing my Grandmother host beauty parties with some of her girl friends. Those moments felt simple but meaningful. Being surrounded by self care, self love, women laughing, and being confident in themselves always brought on a feeling and sense of comfort and creativity. I’ve always been drawn to anything hands-on or beauty-related, even as a child, so I loved any moment where I got to play, create, or make someone feel good. Looking back, those small, joyful experiences are what shaped my desire to build a career centered around care, connection, and creativity.
