Today we’d like to introduce you to Francisco Dean Jr.
Francisco, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Most people are afraid to pivot, not me. My background is Electrical Engineering and after about 3 & 1/2 years climbing the corporate ladder, I realized that my true calling is entrepreneurship. I started my business in March of 2016 as a way to supplement my income from work. A year and a half later, I was 100% on my own. I had built up enough clientele that when my company decided that they no longer need me on board, I was able to gracefully transition into full-time entrepreneurship. It has certainly been a bumpy road but I strive every day to make ProSnap Booth a leading company in the event activation and experiential marketing industry.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Nothing worth having is going to come easy, with that said, I experience struggles every single day. I would say my biggest struggle was the initial hurt of losing my employment and along with it the source of income. After I got over the fear of not being able to provide for myself as an entrepreneur, the thing started to get easier. Also, the event industry in Atlanta is pretty saturated and the big players already have an extremely good hold on the top tier clients. It’s hard to stand out from among the crowd when there are 1,000 other people doing the same thing you do. My goal is to disrupt this industry in a way that sets me apart from the crowd.

ProSnap Booth is Atlanta’s hidden gem. We are well known in many circles as a reputable, go-to photo booth company. We provide excellent customer service and all the same features you would expect from a business that has been around for much longer than us. In addition to the first class customer service we provide, we offer our clients the ability to white-label our services and provide a truly customized and immersive experience for their guests. We are currently in the process of curating some extraordinary experiences that we are excited to bring to the Atlanta market. We are most proud to announce that we are growing as a company and are looking to build a strong team of brand ambassadors and operators.
What were you like growing up?
I’m the true definition of a tech geek! I love and enjoy anything to do with technology. Growing up, I would disassemble my broken and worn out toys to fix them myself or just to see how they work. For extra credit, I would take the different parts of these toys and make new toys with a couple of batteries and whatever else materials I could find around the house. Needless to say, I’m very introverted by nature but I’ve learned to overcome that over the years and even more so recently, as I’ve begun to develop my own personal brand identity. In my family, I’m known as one to tell jokes and make fun. I love to make people laugh & smile which is why I really enjoy working in the event industry.
