Today we’d like to introduce you to Fresco Trey
Hi Fresco, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My name is Fresco Trey, singer songwriter from Memphis Tennessee. I grew up playing basketball all the way until I graduated high school. That’s when I found my love for music and I would say basketball molded a hustle into that was very vital in getting where I am today with music. I grew listening to artist like Tupac, Kanye West, John Legend, Bill Withers and many more. That taste in music is why I credit my music for being so different today. I aspire to be the artist that lives in his music through real events, emotions, and feelings. My sister is the reason my love for music came to fruition. I always had a feel for music but it was in 2018 when my sister pried it out of me. For her im forever thankful because I wouldn’t have the courage to do so myself.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
hell no it has not been a smooth road. this music industry is one the hardest careers I feel there is out there. its so many people that does music so to make yourself standout is almost impossible. also dealing with the devils of this music industry is a whole different beast. the politics in this game is crazy you have to be in who’s who to really amount to something or at least stay revenant. staying focus is also a struggle because when things start to go up for you they go up fast and you have to have a good head on your shoulders and good people around to keep you on the right track.

I am a singer songwriter. I specialize in singing on the tracks and creating man raw emotion for my fans. I am most proud of the amount of people I’ve been able to help with my music. the thing that sets me apart from others is my bravery to be different. being able to have substance in a industry full of zero substance I dig from deep and bring real events and emotion to life.

no, life is the number 1 resource for me. Going through the ups and downs of life help me do my best work.
