Generra, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started creating resumes around 2009; I was always able to acquire new jobs even when the economy was in turmoil. My friends would ask me how I was able to remain gainfully employed and switch employers so frequently with such a down economy. I advised them that I just put my resume on the internet and employers contact me. I started helping my friends and family gain employment by crafting their resumes, and I decided to turn it into a business venture.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has been a long journey, and the business is still not where I envision it, but it has come a long way from the humble beginnings. The main struggle was getting the word out; there is nothing more frustrating than having a great product and no one to sell it to. Business has picked up now mostly from word of mouth, which is a testament itself in the services being provided. I am confident that with hard work and dedication this company will become a thriving force in the community.

UrResumeUrFuture, LLC is a Resume Consultant Firm. The main purpose of the company is to enable clients to gain employment, switch careers, or re-enter the workforce. I am the CEO as well as the Resume Writer. I craft resumes for clients that highlight their skills, qualifications, and achievements.
