Today we’d like to introduce you to George Worrell.
George, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Well, I started preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the tender age of 15 in the spring of 2006. I’ve always had a heart for the environment that I was from. Growing up in College Park, I saw many young men that I grew up with become products of our environment. I’ve even buried at least 5 of my classmates. I was determined to assist in making my environment a product of me and not the other way around. I have been blessed to have preached, taught seminars, spoke at school assemblies, all over the Southside of Atlanta. After serving as a Youth Pastor for 5 years, in 2017 God led me and my wife to plant our very own ministry which is Kingdom Life Changing Center, Inc. located in Riverdale, Ga. A ministry whose focus is on “The Streets” and bringing the “un-churched” into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road most certainly has not been easy. Trusting God, every step of the way and having an amazing Wife (Lady Raven Worrell) has been my anchor. As a visionary, there will be many times where people that said they wouldn’t leave actually leave you. There have been times on this journey where everything that can go wrong did go wrong. We were always mindful of the BIGGER picture. Working hard, implementing new strategies, gaining exposure, and having the right team are all the necessary ingredients (at least for me) that help to make it through those TUMULTUOUS times. I always remind myself that “Every storm eventually runs out of rain”. Brighter days always come after the storms of life.
Please tell us about Kingdom Life Changing Center, Inc.
Kingdom Life Changing Center, Inc. is a church that focuses on “The Streets”. We believe that the ministry of Jesus Christ can infiltrate any environment, hood’s, traps, anywhere where the WORD of God is spoken, change ultimately will come. We are known as “The Church For The Streets. We go after marginalized individuals living on the fringes of our society and share with them the Gospel, invite them into a loving yet growing church family, and love them unconditionally right where they are!
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Not listened to any naysayers and negativity. It will always throw you off coarse.
