Today we’d like to introduce you to GG Green.
GG, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started freelancing for Anastasia Of Beverly Hills at Nordstrom and that’s when I fell in love with doing eyebrows. I worked with that company for a year and then I decided to walk out on faith and start my own business, I rented a space in a hair salon in midtown. I would pass our flyers at the mall and events and that’s how I built my clientele by word of mouth. It took me years to build my business to the level where it is today. I specialize in Eyebrow Shaping and I now have my very own waxing kit. I created an Ultra Sensitive Cream Wax for women with sensitive skin. Along with waxing strips and a waxing machine. I launched the product at my Master Brow Class in Atlanta.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It wasn’t a smooth road to success. I had quit my job and started working at a hair salon with no clientele. I had to work hard to get people to come to me and try me out. Word of mouth was my form of advertising and taking before and after picture of my work and posting it on social media.
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about GG Brows, LLC – what should we know?
I’m one of the top Eyebrow Experts in Atlanta. I’m licensed and certified to do Brow Waxing, Tinting, and Ombre Powder Brows. My biggest accomplishment is starting my own Waxing Kit Product Line. I have my own machine, wax and waxing strips. What sets me apart is that no one in this industry has there owned Waxing Kit and I’m Booked two months out and I travel state to state teaching classes to help others learn my techniques.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Customer Service is major and providing my clients with a great service and product knowledge on the products that I recommend them use to maintain their brows.
