Today we’d like to introduce you to Gina Smith.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Gina. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started off in Real Estate in the late 80’s as a Resident Manager in my hometown of Columbus, Georgia. I received the position after the owner of a small management company had seen me working as a bank teller, and offered me to work with their company. Treating people with kindness goes a long way. Fast forward to now, I own my own Real Estate company and building my brand is very important to me. My brand is solely built on hard work, building relationships, and giving my absolute best. If I can’t show up and give my best, I will take a personal day off. So far I can count on 1 hand all of the personal days I have taken. Real Estate has been a part of my life for most of my life. I love helping people invest in their dreams of homeownership and building their portfolio of investments. It’s extremely rewarding.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No way has this job been a smooth road! The thing about real estate is that it is unpredictable. The real estate market is impacted by government policies and urban management which can significantly affect the development of real estate. When the big bubble aka market crashed in 2008, a lot of realtors went under. Me, I sold foreclosures. “The only thing you’ve got in this world is what you can sell” I am a firm believer of that.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Smith Fine Homes Atlanta – what should we know?
Smith Fine Homes Atlanta is my real estate company. I assist buyers, sellers, and investors in negotiating the deal of their dream. I am known for my long track record, my superb relationships with past clients and industries counterparts and my ability to get the job done! One job as a real Estate as a paralegal has armed me with tools that have been the key to my fierce negotiation tools. I know contracts, titles, surveys, legal description like no other! Try me! I have been able to spot miniscule issues in paperwork that could otherwise derail an entire deal.

As a Top 5% Producer amongst Atlanta realtors, I have been serving the area for 20+ years. I provide a professional and stress-relieving experience. Community-minded, I am an active supporter of Rainbow House, a nonprofit organization serving adolescent victims of abuse.

As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, I understand that family is everything, especially when it comes to the buying and selling of a home. I am here to help you make the ideal choice for your family’s needs; from school systems to neighborhood amenities, my local knowledge can ensure you will find exactly what you’re looking for.
I also have worked with several film and television studios, top producers and as a Location Specialist for talent accommodations. Sometimes I put the phone on mute to scream to my husband who is on the other end of the phone!

Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
Being true, upfront, and loyal. I strive to set an example for young female entrepreneurs, and being a role model is not being popular. But I’m not afraid to take risks. Or put myself out there. I am constantly working to better myself so I can be a better boss and bigger contribution.
