Today we’d like to introduce you to Ginny VanOostrom-Willett.
Ginny, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My husband and I have been in the real estate industry for over 20 years. We started our little company, Algin Realty, Inc., in 2012 and have been growing our business ever since. We now have four office locations, full time staff, and are one of the leading real estate companies in your area. We have a passion for this industry and are thankful for the chances we are given to serve others.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Real estate is definitely not a smooth road, but you work hard to make it smooth process for your clients! The biggest struggle was when the market crashed.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Algin Realty story. Tell us more about the business.
When the market crashed, we had to think outside of the box because homes were not selling as they once were. We started purchasing homes to remodel. I love reinvesting in the community that I work in. We are making our community more beautiful one home at a time!
