Today we’d like to introduce you to Haley Tucker.
Hi Haley, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I had dreams of starting a YouTube channel for years! I finally went for it and uploaded my first video in April of 2022! Now, I only wish I had started sooner! What really held me back was worrying about what other people would think. Big mistake! I finally realized I wanted to share what I loved through my creativity, passion for content creating and editing! The little community I’ve built is small, but I’m so proud of it! I thought no one would want to watch my videos, so I am truly so grateful for every view!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Truly just me holding myself back. I really had to work on confidence. And confidence isn’t worrying about if everyone will like you, but knowing you’ll be fine if they don’t. I knew exactly the type of videos I wanted to make so I just made them. I totally had to let go of the fear and my own perfectionism. I know I didn’t have professional filming equipment. I film on my phone and edit on my phone. Start where you are and learn as you go!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
My channel focuses on a cozy, healthy lifestyle. Finding joy in everyday, simple moments. I share how I try to romanticize the seemingly ordinary moments in life. Appreciating good food, nature, and making your house a home. I love when I get to do fun seasonal videos. I believe in celebrating every season for all the beauty that comes with it. And I love giving my home fresh, simple decor with the changing seasons. Although we love a trip to Disney, and the fireworks are my FAVORITE part, I truly believe you can’t wait for fireworks to enjoy your life. On my channel I try and share how I find joy and deep gratitude in a rainy day or ripe peach. I feel most proud when people share with me that I cheered them up that day!
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
I absolutely adore Atlanta. By far, my favorite part is all the delicious food options. I have a whole ATL restaurant bucket list saved on my phone! We also really enjoy going to speakeasy and Atlanta has such fun hidden finds! As with any city, it has its downsides, but the summers in the city are brutal! A walk through the botanical gardens is absolutely lovely, just be prepared to melt June – August!
