Halie’s journey in the modeling industry began in 2015, where she graced magazines, conquered runways, and participated in styled shoots. The turning point came when she discovered her passion for makeup and hair during a collaboration on a popular magazine set. Eager to learn, she underwent private courses, studying under a skilled artist, and ventured into her own part-time makeup and hair styling business in 2018. From those humble beginnings, she transformed it into the flourishing Lush Beauty Bar. What sets Halie apart is her genuine love for client interaction, making her services more than just a transaction. Whether it’s bridal elegance, full glam, or the perfect look for homecoming and prom, Halie is dedicated to turning your dream into a stunning reality. She has owned her own company, Lush Beauty Bar ATL, for 5 years and is prominent in the Georgia Wedding and Events industries. She is well known for her creative skills and organization. She is married with 4 young boys and loves all things fantasy! She also owns Book Lush Events. A Book Ball company that just made their debut in March 2025
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every business comes with its challenges. For me, the biggest hurdles were finding dependable, skilled staff and implementing efficient processes that streamlined operations and made my life easier. No one tells you how to start a business, especially the specific, creative fields I decided to go in to, so it took a lot of trial and errors!

With a deep passion for hair and makeup, I specialize in creating timeless bridal looks and soft glam styles that enhance natural beauty. My love for books and events also inspired me to launch Book Lush Events, now one of the leading book ball companies in Atlanta. Through creativity and dedication, I’ve built a career that blends artistry, storytelling, and unforgettable experiences.
What truly sets me apart is the passion and dedication I pour into everything I do. Whether it’s crafting the perfect bridal look, executing flawless soft glam, or curating unforgettable book events, I believe in giving my absolute best. I take the time to perfect every detail, ensuring my clients feel confident, beautiful, and valued. Beyond that, I am always studying, learning, and refining my skills, committed to evolving and elevating my craft. For me, it’s not just about doing the job; it’s about constantly striving to be better and do better in every aspect of my work.
