Meet Hannah Cohen of Hannah Cohen Photography

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Cohen.

Hannah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
In high school, I became interested in photography! I started doing senior photos and my business grew from there! I love my job because it doesn’t feel like I’m working. I get to do what I love. I have the opportunity to create memories that will last a lifetime.

My favorite part about my business is that I have the opportunity to meet some very unique and awesome individuals. It’s such an honor to be able to hear their stories and become a huge part of it!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would have to say, it wasn’t easy at all! I’ve never taken any photography classes and had no clue how to make a website or business cards, let alone run a business! However, I had some amazing help along the way. My boyfriend, friends and family have been my biggest supporters and have pushed me throughout this journey. I wouldn’t be where I am without everyone’s help.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Hannah Cohen Photography story. Tell us more about the business.
I am an Atlanta based photographer that specializes in senior portraits and weddings! I’m known for capturing natural and special moments. I like my photographs to look like the subject is very comfortable in their own skin. I try to avoid posed/position photos, this helps create an image of the subject’s true personality and also captures that present moment. As a company, I am most proud of how much I have grown from where I started. My business sets me apart from others because of my affordable prices!

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
This is something I’ve never really thought about. I feel that the role of luck has been good with both my life and my business. In my opinion, to believe that you have good luck is a very positive way to go through life. I personally think that this is an option and I choose to believe that I have had so much good luck with amazing clients, weather, locations for photo shoots, and lighting.
