Today we’d like to introduce you to Harmony.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m from the small town of Millen, GA. I’ve singing since I was three. Of course, I began in church, but I realized I loved music when I heard Whitney Houston. From there I was apart of the church choir and learned several different instruments. In school I was apart of the chorus were in expanded my knowledge in music learning to read music. This was all under the tutelage of Jean Barefield. I will always be indebted to her the things she taught me. From high, I entered college and kind put music to the side to get my degree, but once I was done 2015 is when my career started picking up steam. I moved to LA and was able to meet some great individuals and learn the industry. I’ve written for some independent artist and even done some ghostwriting. All of this has brought me to today. I thank God I’ve begun making a name for myself in Atlanta and the surrounding areas. So remember it Harmony will be a household name. I hope you’re ready!
Has it been a smooth road?
I’ve definitely had some challenges, but I see them as lessons to get me to my end goal. The biggest lesson is having people take advantage of you when you’re nice. The other being when you know the business people tend to run and not want to work with you as an independent artist. With all that said, I wouldn’t trade any of the disappointments for anything.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is definitely a great place to get a musical start. I think for the most part the people are receptive to new up and coming talent. I think you also have to work really hard to prove yourself.
