Meet Heaven Hightower

Today we’d like to introduce you to Heaven Hightower.

Fourteen-year-old actress, model, and author, Heaven Hightower, began her modeling career at age seven and her acting career at age eight. She first made it on the scene as Natasha in “The Hate U Give.” Since her first big break, Heaven has been in four TV series, five feature films, and eight theatrical plays, including her latest work in the film “Black Girl Magic.” Despite the pandemic, Heaven has managed to stay busy by appearing in three productions and two fashion shows this year.

Throughout her career, Heaven has received notable accolades, including ATLhottest Child Actress (2016, 2017, 2018), Rising Star (2016, 2017, 2018), Junior Teen Miss Georgia (2018), and American Youth Film Festival – Best Actress (2019). In addition to industry accolades, Heaven was nominated for the prestigious RICE Award – Youth Achieve of The Year (2019) for her non-profit Heaven Help One Help All Foundation (founded 2014). In her book titled “Heaven’s Life On The Runway,” Heaven explains her modeling experiences from behind the scenes preparation to the spotlights of the runway and life afterward.

Has it been a smooth road?
If the road were smooth all the time, it would be too easy. It has been a fun adventure. I enjoy the challenges of auditioning and playing multiple roles as well as the challenges of qualifying for a fashion show. None of it is easy, but it is always worth it. Some of the main struggles have stemmed from being young and balancing it all with school, friends, and sports. Sometimes it feels overwhelming, but it’s my dream so I have to keep following the path no matter how bumpy it gets. My family and friends have been very supportive.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a model, actress, author, and philanthropist. I specialize in modeling, acting, and writing. I set myself apart because I have been doing this for seven years and I’m only fourteen. My most proud moment was being nominated for the RICE Award because I put a lot of hard work into my non-profit Heaven Help One Help All Foundation. I love helping people, so the nomination meant more than any award I have ever won.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love all of the parks and trails we have available. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about my city.
