Donald Williams, or better known as Heavy, is an emerging hip-hop/soul artist hailing from Birmingham, Alabama. The rising artist seeks to leave an impact on his listeners through motivating and teaching life lessons with his music. Heavy has been creating waves in the hip-hop community as he is an Alabama Music Awards nominee and worked with platinum producers such as Courtland Harvell and DJ Pain 1. Moreover, he has opened for acts such as Gucci Mane, Pastor Troy, and many more. Inspired by his life experiences and testimonies, Heavy seeks to cement his mark in the music industry with his deep lyricism and unique style. As part of his rise, Heavy has now created his own imprint: Power Music Group. This will enable the spotlight to be set on other up-and-coming artists that need a platform. Heavy delivers impactful verses with a memorable voice that will resonate with any hip-hop aficionado.

It’s never a smooth road. If it was It would scare me. Not enough support, life struggles, wife getting shot, are just a few things that made this road bumpy.

Power Music Group is an independent inspirational label. We are more than music, we do footwork in our city… feeding the homeless, we reached to over seven families during this pandemic crisis, doing things provides groceries, pampers, water, gas money, etc. Those things make me proud. That we are not just here for fame, we really care about our people. Without GOD none of this would be possible.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is definitely a market city. I like to call it a little LA. It’s tons of corps, people and opportunities, to network with.
