Meet Hokage Haze

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hokage Haze.

So, So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well, I started off selling candy or whatever I could get my hands on to buy equipment in the tenth grade. From there, I learned Adobe Audition with the assistance of my homies Khush and Sheetz. Soon I began recording myself and a lot of friends around the city. I continued this until I went off to college, where I continued to do the same. As time progressed, I upgraded equipment and bought a camera with the money earned. This camera created a new avenue for me as a creator.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. As creatives, we struggle to have immediate support at first, so we tend to question ourselves and our crafts. But making it through that stage is the triumph and what prepares you for the takeover.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
I specialize in making music personally, but the company Hokage Films’ focus is creative direction and media content. I have been behind the editing and filming of a lot of my personal works, but I have also worked on the content for many influencers and artists. Our ability to adapt to the styles of others and passion for editing sets us apart from the rest.

What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was a class clown, just couldn’t sit still. But I often made up for my dumb moments with my grades. The school was always something I felt like I had to do; it also felt too easy. Aside from just being goofy, I never bothered anyone. I stayed to myself for the most part. As a young in, I had a fear of what everyone else thought I guess that’s why I’m so out of the box now. I often used music and anime to connect with others and this explains the directions of the brand today.
