Meet Hope Knowles of Crystal Clear Hope

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hope Knowles.

Hi Hope, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I ALWAYS got in trouble for talking too much in school. It was my absolute favorite thing to do. I have been a natural motivator my whole life, the one that others would come to for encouragement. So when I look back on my life now, it seems only natural that I would become a transformational speaker and coach, however my professional journey did not begin until 2014.

After losing my parents, my business, my home, car, being in financial destitute, and plagued with severe health issues, I decided to find the purpose behind my pain. That was where my journey begin. I was able to use the pain that I had gone through in life to encourage those that we’re currently in a dark season that they could make it through. I was able to teach the steps that I used to overcome my obstacles and gain peace, happiness, and success. I began speaking locally at first, and then my platform spread nationwide, and now is international, with clients in India and Africa.

As I was preparing to speak at a women’s conference, I was in prayer about my purpose, and God revealed to me that my name is my purpose. My mother named me Crystal Hope, and it came to her in prayer, in my moment with God, He revealed to me that it is Crystal Clear that I am supposed to bring Hope and Encouragement. That is how the Crystal Clear Hope brand was born and I have never looked back.

The one thing that they told me not to do in school…speak, is what I now call a career. Being able to wear the title of international speaker and help women and teenagers transform their life, is both an honor and responsibility that I do not take lightly. Helping them to know that they can survive. Teaching them to discover their purpose and then walk in that purpose, on purpose, with purpose, is my mission.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has most definitely not been smooth. My business was derived from my pain, but once I had overcome that, I thought it would be smooth from there. Boy was I wrong. Being a business owner is hard, and when your job is to motivate, you really are not supposed to get discouraged…but I’m human and I do.

I have struggled with booking speaking engagements. Feeling like an unknown and getting people to believe in me, even when I felt so small. I have had and still do apply the techniques that I teach. I have learned to give myself grace and realize that perfection is an impossible goal. At the end of the day if I give 110% and know I tried my best, then I have won. Many people compete with others, but life has taught me that my only competition IS ME. As long as I strive each day to get 1% better and be the very best version of me that I am capable of, victory is mine because what God has for me, is for me. I have learned not let sickness, financial issues, the opinions of others, or anything else take my eyes off of that.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
I am a Transformational Speaker & Coach. Beyond simply motivating my goal is to inspire people to want to transform… change. Change, while uncomfortable is necessary for growth, and growth is what will lead to you to your goals.

I am most proud that I have been able to keep my brand authentic. I don’t follow a set model that society says is right, but rather look at each situation and person individually and tailor my techniques to them specifically. Life is not one size fits all, and coaching should not be either.

My passion is women and helping women succeed. I am also deeply invested in youth because they are often overlooked, but are our future. I do in person and virtual speaking engagements, as well as, offer individual and group coaching sessions.

What were you like growing up?
I was talkative and outgoing. I was a cheerleader and ran track, but also a nerd. I loved and still do love learning new things.
