Meet Hue Miner of Midtown Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hue Miner.

Hi Hue, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My dad is a chef, and he made sure I experienced every flavor and every culture through the dishes he introduced me to. Those early moments opened my palate and sparked a lifelong passion for food.

I love everything—from clean, healthy meals to the guilty pleasures that make you close your eyes and smile. Because of that, I stay committed to at least an hour of cardio a day. For me, wellness and good food go hand in hand.

Even though I never mastered cooking like my dad, I discovered my own lane: the art of dining out. The energy, the creativity, the stories behind every plate—that’s where my love truly grew. When I started filming my dining experiences, I even created a little jingle I’d sing over my plate. A friend heard it and said, “You better copyright that!” That moment showed me I was building something unique and authentic.

Now, my mission is simple: to inspire people to explore, taste, and celebrate amazing food experiences. Dining out is more than a meal—it’s a journey, and I’m bringing people with me one bite at a time.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Nothing worth having comes easy, and with that being said. A lot of what I’ve learned came through trial and error—figuring things out as I went. In the beginning, I reached out to food influencers who inspired me, trying to understand their process, their mindset, and how they built their platforms. I also connected with restaurant owners and marketing teams to learn what they look for and how collaborations really work behind the scenes.

One of the biggest challenges was understanding trends and how fast they change. What works one month might not work the next, so staying adaptable became a must. But the biggest question of all—the one I asked myself over and over—was, “How do you get paid to eat?”

Turning a passion into a business took patience, confidence, and a willingness to keep showing up even when I didn’t have the answers yet. Every setback taught me something, and every small win reminded me I was moving in the right direction.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Betcha Wanna Eat Wit Me” is more than a food vlog—it’s a vibe you can feel. I bring an urban, energetic perspective to dining out, showing people where to find real flavor and real experiences. If a spot hits, I’m putting you on. If it doesn’t, I’m not sugarcoating it.

People know me for my jingle—“Betcha Wanna Eat Wit Me!”—and the energy I bring every time the camera starts rolling. From fine dining to hidden gems and gas-station tacos, I make each visit feel fun, relatable, and worth pulling up for.

Across YouTube and Instagram, viewers tap in because of my first-bite reactions, my playful captions, my humor, and the way I make you feel like you’re sitting right beside me. I’m proud of that—of building a space where people trust my taste and enjoy the ride.

And honestly? I love the food community. It’s tight, it’s supportive, and collaborating with other food influencers pushes me to grow and keep leveling up.

What sets me apart is simple:
my vibe, my authenticity, and the way I turn every meal into a moment. I don’t just show food—I make you want to pull up and try it yourself.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
My biggest advice for finding a mentor or networking is simple: reach out to the people you genuinely admire. Don’t let that “you’re not the only one” mindset stop you—because honestly, none of us are the only ones. There’s room for everybody, and the people you look up to were once in your position too.

Be patient with the process. Not everyone will reply right away, and that’s okay. Sometimes you’ve gotta make a little noise so people notice you—drop consistent content, show up, be present, and let your work speak louder than your DMs.

But the most important part?
Move with confidence and purpose. Don’t chase attention; chase alignment. When you know why you’re doing what you’re doing, the right connections, mentors, and opportunities start to show up naturally.

That’s what worked for me—being authentic, staying consistent, and reaching out without fear.
