Meet Irwin Britton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Irwin Britton.

Irwin Britton

Hi Irwin, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, I am Irwin Britton, originally from Louisville, Kentucky. I am currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, where I have lived for 10 years. I am the oldest of 4, and the only boy, so growing up in a household with only females was a gift and a curse, lol. At a young age, I knew I was passionate about music, harmonies, and instruments. So, in 2009, I wrote my first song, and I have been locked in ever since. I went from writing the songs to gradually learning how to record and mix down my own demos, which prompted my move to Atlanta in 2015. This journey has been magical and ever-changing, and my growth is out and continuous.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
For me, it has been overall a smooth road. I think we have to go through a little war, and I always say that’s for personal lessons and growth. So yes, it has been a peaceful sail through the waters.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
What I do for work? I am in accounting for a nice CPA firm here in Peachtree Corners. I do everything from the client’s bookkeeping down to the billing and e-filing. I am proud of the fact I have climb the ladder. Started small, and I’ve grown so much over the last 3 years. My work ethic and my passion for what I set my mind to is what sets me apart. I have an amazing personality in which I can get along with just anybody, but in all my great ways, I have some not-so-great ways as well, lol, as we are all not perfect.
