Meet Jabria Luddley of Miss Lucy’s Cleaning Co. in Conyers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jabria Luddley.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started cleaning homes while I was an undergrad at the University of West Georgia because at the time it was just something I was doing to get more money. However, as time went by I actually found cleaning to be therapeutic. No one in my family has a business so I was unsure of what route to take but I knew I wanted to make it official and get a business license. It took some time between graduating and career changes, but by January of 2019 Miss Lucy’s Cleaning Co. officially became a LLC.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely has not been an easy process. This is something I started completely by myself. Of course, there were days that I doubted myself and even still do especially not really having the resources or funds to even to get it started. However, as long as it took to research it I am glad I did it.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Miss Lucy’s Cleaning Co. – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
Miss Lucy’s Cleaning Co. is a black-owned residential cleaning company serving Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas. We offer general cleaning, deep cleaning, move in/move out cleaning and are available for one time, monthly or weekly service. I am most proud of the progress that my company has made in the few months that we have been open. Our affordability and quality service sets us apart from others. We understand that every home is different so we even offer customized packages for each homeowner.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
My plans for Miss Lucy’s in the future is to eventually grow the company and be able to provide employment for other individuals in the Metro Atlanta area. I would love to add people to the team!
