Today we’d like to introduce you to Jade Baker.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started doing music when I was about 5-7 years old. However, after different challenges growing up, I developed as an artist and began my spiritual journey while in film school. The cards came to me & I didn’t look for them. It’s crazy I didn’t even get to finish college yet but I at least found myself, tarot, astrology, and God.
Now I’m speaking at colleges about my beliefs, how to read the cards, and heal as The Inner Child Healer. & I’m also helping people with their content, and music videos and performing all around ATL. So that’s just a little about what I do now because I serve and lead. I like to say I work for God.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No not at all. I think everyone struggles no matter what level they are at. However, life has a funny way of making those struggles be used as stepping stones to get us to those smooth roads. I feel like I’m just now getting to one of the smooth road chapters of my life.
One of the struggles for me was just creating financial stability for myself and a nest to start creating my own dream life & family of my own that I wasn’t able to experience or have grown up with. I moved a lot because spirit had a funny way of protecting me from the chaos, which I’m so grateful for now as an adult. However, now I’m also thankful that I know where I am supposed to be to fulfill my mission and what I came here to do.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a performing rap artist, creative film director, runway model & mystic oracle reader. Finally, I’m who I always wanted to be when I was a kid. I am proud of my roots and how much I’ve been able to make such a huge impact in the world at such a young age coming from my background.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Being happy with where you are and going next in your life.
