James and Mikayla, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
James and I began dating in high school and have been a dynamic duo ever since. Upon graduation, I started college for Business Management after being accepted to Reinhardt University. James’ career took off prosperously in Construction Supply Sales for several years. It was in 2008, that James was among those who were told they were being laid off due to the Recession. We lost a lot of sleep and struggled to pay bills. We ate ramen noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Often. We learned to save our money through this trial; it was a fantastic life lesson. Eventually, we took a leap of faith- we used our savings to purchase equipment, company vehicles and started our carpet cleaning business from scratch.
As young entrepreneurs, we have had a lot of fun growing our business together. We have built our small venture into an optimal level carpet cleaning company. We are family ran and focus directly on our clients’ needs. Our business plan has been successful by simply: Being honest with no gimmicks and building personal relationships with our customers.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been easy. But what is it Theodore Roosevelt said?

As a company, I think we are most proud of our five star service reviews. I enjoy reading them on Google, Facebook, and other various sites. It is really humbling and heartwarming to see your hard work finally paying off. The most rewarding part of being a small business owner is to go to sleep at night knowing you have satisfied customers.
Our company opened originally as a steam cleaning operation in North Georgia. Due to our committed team with a strong focus on customer service, we expanded our services outside the carpet cleaning business. We are set apart from others because we take a comprehensive approach toward cleaning. We specialize in commercial and residential carpet cleaning. Other services we provide are:

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are living the American Dream! It is both exciting and challenging. As business owners, we have more flexible schedules to spend with our children- Gemma and Asher. A big change we are looking forward to is we will be expanding this upcoming year to offer mold remediation services. We control our own destiny and our plan is to continue to grow.
