Hi James, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
After working for years with pain management clinics, chiropractic clinics and Personal Injury attorneys: Dr Granger noticed there is need for improvement in treating pain and addiction. That led to the introduction of acupuncture to his practice and more recently the addition of Stemwave (Shockwave) for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.
Pain pills are over prescribed and lead to addiction and dependence. That is why, the use of Buprenorphine is such a large component of the practice at Acupuncture and Injury. The goal is to have patients “pain free without pills”. This include being free from the pain of addiction to opiates and alcohol.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Educating people about the medications available to treat Opiate and Alcohol Use disorder is always a struggle. Also, educating people on the value of noninvasive treatments like Stemwave and Acupuncture is also challenging.

At Acupuncture and Injury, we have been providing quality care for auto and work injuries since 2009. As our practice has evolved, we have focused more on less invasive and pharmaceutical treatments such as acupuncture and Stemwave treatments.
Our goal is to have you pain free without pills TM.
Recognizing the pitfalls of the use of opiates, Medically Assisted Therapy using Buprenorphine formulations to treat opiate addiction has become a larger and larger component of our practice. We currently use a number of Buprenorphine formulations to include Subxone, Sublocade, Brixadi and Subutex.
To provide patients with options to avoid surgery or invasive procedures, we offer both acupuncture and Stemwave treatment for acute and chronic pain and injuries.
As a veteran owned business we offer substantial discount to Veterans for acupuncture, Stem wave and Bioidentical Hormone therapy.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Identifying the best modality for advertising is key in today’s marketplace. The internet is both a blessing and a curse. Word of mouth never gets old.
