Hi Janel, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Diamond Effect by JNichole officially launched in 2018. Literally started this brand with a vision, determination and less than $250! Back when I started, I didn’t have all the resources that I have now. I used what I had around me. I never let what I didn’t have stop me from reaching my goals. I had to make a lot of sacrifices to get to where I am today. I had to focus and turn on my tunnel vision. When you’re trying to reach new levels, you have to be extremely focused. It’s so easy to get distracted or discouraged. What people see now is the result of me developing a lot of self-discipline. Discipline brought me this far!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road! I’ve faced a lot of hardships on this journey. The first was becoming a full-time business owner and a first-time mom at the same time. Both were new to me and I had to figure it out as I went! It was overwhelming, I’ll admit but I didn’t quit, I kept going! Other struggles were what I feel a lot of us go through such as self-doubt, imposter syndrome, feeling lack of support and the list goes on. I’m not afraid to admit I’ve dealt with those things along my journey. The good thing is that I overcame them. To the person reading this, so can YOU! Focus on your DIRECTION and NOT your speed! Let God direct you on your journey!

Diamond Effects by JNichole offers a variety of services. We offer top-quality machine-made wigs. Our wigs are created precisely to fit each individual’s head size. Our machine-made wigs can last clients 5+ years with proper care. Not only are wigs offered but classes are offered as well. I teach people how to make wigs on the sewing machine with little to no experience. The Wiganomics Institute is an International online wig academy.
