Today we’d like to introduce you to January Miller.
January, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Growing up, I’ve always had a love for tv shows and movies. After graduating from the University of Florida in the spring of 2016, I decided to go for it full force. I started JC Mega Productions, LLC in an effort to work on my craft and also create content for different clients. While staying in my hometown of Orlando, FL, I continually worked on expanding my company locally. Eventually, I had enough to move to Atlanta in June of 2018 where I knew my business would have an even better opportunity to prosper. A year and a half later, I’m thoroughly happy with the decision I made for my business and I’m building lasting connections and friendships along the way.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been the smoothest road. It took some time to build up clientele and create a loyal following. Though I have a consistent base now, any entrepreneur will tell you that this road comes with many ups and downs. Thankfully I have a supportive family and amazing friends who keep me uplifted through all of the challenges. If it weren’t for them, I’m not sure where I would be.

My videography business is called JC Mega Productions, LLC. My company specializes in filming sporting events, corporate videos, and footage for creatives heavily involved in social media marketing. I’m most proud of how my company has been able to create quality work that clients can enjoy. What sets my company apart is how we’re able to create lasting relationships with our clients and give them quality work that they can enjoy for years to come.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is the perfect area for a business such as JC Mega Productions, LLC. There are so many creatives and go-getters in this area who need quality video content. Atlanta is also an amazing place for small business owners to flourish. I feel that someone starting out could definitely do well in this area. Just need to have a good work ethic and be willing to be persistent in reaching their goals.
