Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Hilliard.
Jasmine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’m a small-town girl born & raised in Wilson, NC. As a child, I always had a passion for hair. I eventually started teaching myself how to do my own hair at the age of 14. I always thought that I could express myself and show off my unique personal style thru my hair.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’m a young woman running a new business, raising three children, and attending school all at the same time so the road has definitely been challenging. I’m the type of person that doesn’t take no for an answer. There are many things that are difficult to overcome, but NOTHING is impossible.

We specialize in high-quality human hair lace wigs and eyelashes. I think something that sets me apart is that I have a passion for hair so I know what good quality hair is & what it should look like. I always say “when you look good, you feel good” & that’s what I want my customers to experience when they make a purchase with me.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Honestly, I would say that having a mentor is great but not necessary. I don’t have any mentors at the moment except God & myself. I’m my own mentor. I build myself up, I encourage myself, and I give myself the strength to persevere and keep going daily.
