Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Ryans.
Jasmine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started Soul(tre) part-time at 25, but I’ve had 2 strokes and a bad car accident in my 30s that have forced me to be a full-time entrepreneur with Soul(tre), the COO and CMO of Rocjaz Supply, an author, model, investor and influencer because of my speech.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. I had to close my business after the first stroke and I had to pivot. After the car accident and the 2nd stroke, I had to be creative and focus on what I could do because it has been a lot of things I still can’t do.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
Soul(tre) specializes in white label skin, body and beard care. We focus on businesses looking to grow their brand by creating a product line with their brand on it. Rocjaz specializes in cleaning supplies for residential and commercial use. Overall I am an advocate for health and wellness. I am most proud of (business-wise) are the beard care products. (I personally use them on my hair on my head because of growth, the smell and the feel). What sets me apart from others is the look of the finished products ( very clean and luxurious and we don’t use plastic containers or bottles, all glass and the feeling of family and love. I am all about educating my clients because I really want to see them win because they deserve to.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I would say I’m a huge risk-taker. Starting the business was a risk, becoming the COO and CMO of a new company is a risk, relaunching my business was a risk, obeying God is a risk, becoming an author is a risk, being an investor is a risk, putting yourself out there again is a risk. You learn more about yourself when you take risks. Those remembered and living legends took risks.
