Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Simone Davis.
Jasmine, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Jasmine Simone Davis and I was born and raised on the west side of Atlanta. I was raised by a single mother of six kids and I am the oldest. I am a graduate from Georgia State University, and my studies consist of Journalism with a concentration of Public Relations and a Minor in Speech. I’ve always been an artistic, inspiring and visual person. I can remember from the time of being in elementary, I loved to draw and music. Those two things brought out the artistic side of me. Jasmine Simone. Co and Loading with J. Simone has been apart of me for a while. It’s just I finally decided to share with the world my creation. Jasmine Simone. Co is a jewelry, accessories, and apparel line. My business is an expression of quality and authenticity.
Back in 2014, I started my jewelry line of just making hand made bracelets, which I did sell but I became uninterested in it. I pulled away from my jewelry line and focused on school and life. In 2019 of June, I decided to revamp my brand and continue to work on it because it was once my passion and now I’m ready to continue the marathon. Nothing in life is easy but the key to life is pushing through no matter how hard or uncomfortable it is. If that is your passion, keep going. Alongside with Loading with J.Simone, which is my blog page of where authenticity, inspiration, positivity, and love resides. My purpose in life is to inspire, love, help others, and live my true authentic self. I give all my thanks and gratitude to God because he has carried me through life each and every time. Thank you, voyage Atl for allowing me to share a glimpse of my story. There is more to come. Life is not a sprint but a marathon.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Life is not a smooth rode at all, but I will say there is a blessing in every lesson. It’s all about how you handle a situation and preserve it through it. My challenge was trusting myself as far as what is best for me. I always tend to ask friends or family is this a good idea or what would you do type of questions. But now I’m focusing on trusting my decision and continue to ask God to guide me on every journey in my life.

I have Jasmine Simone. Co (Jewelry, Accessories, and Apparel) and Loading with J.Simone (blog). Both businesses were created out of authenticity and love within myself. I am very proud to be the owner of both. My slogan for both is quality and authenticity leads. Quality and authenticity are the key components I live by as far as my morals. My company is to serve people with quality, understanding, appreciation, authenticity, and love. I want people to be themselves understand the foundation of what I bring forth to them.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is to me is when you are living out your purpose for God. We all have a purpose and a lot of us don’t know what it is. See, life is truly a work and progress. Personally, I am still growing and learning through all events that occur in my life. But one thing I can say, getting a personal relationship with God is very important. Of course, if you want to create success, you have to be determined, ambitious, persevere, sacrifice, and be authentic to yourself. But I’m finding that all these qualities I listed plays a part in it. But God is the ultimate key to success. There is this quote I truly believe “Commit your action to the lord and your plans will succeed.” – Proverbs 16:3
