Meet Jason Lobdell of X28 in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jason Lobdell.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jason. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started personal training in 2015, I owned a gym named Universal fitness. My previous occupation, I had tucking contracts I was making good money but the gym was my passion so I picked passion over paycheck and Boy did it pay off! I ended up taking my talents online then blew up a year later.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Well me taking a salary of $500 a week was the biggest struggle because I was previous making six figures with my trucks but after I scaled back on my lifestyle I was able to see some daylight.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the X28 story. Tell us more about the business.
X28 is an online fitness program known worldwide! I’m 1 of the co-founders and my role is more of a hands-on owner the relationship guy while my partner Gee Bryant plays the back office. I’m known for training Rick Ross along with other celebrities and owning 1 of the most popular gyms in the country The Loft Athletic Club. My proudest moment as a company came early being able to make $1M plus first year of business its what set us apart from would be competition.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
The only role luck has played in my life was I was lucky enough to discover my passion at the right time and execute.
