Meet Jaymie Solomon of Card My Yard

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaymie Solomon.

Hi Jaymie, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My husband Jeff and I have always dreamed of owning our own business together. We both bring a diverse set of skills with many years of experience in the business world that lends itself to managing a business together. We stumbled upon the Card My Yard franchise opportunity during the height of covid when we ordered a birthday sign for our son to celebrate him. We loved his response to it so much that we had to inquire about a franchise for our area. We were definitely nervous about opening in the height of the pandemic but saw the advantages to doing so. We have now been in business for over a year.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It was very challenging learning the business while trying to manage the demand of the need for our service during covid. On the plus side, it gave us an opportunity to really see what a busy day looks like in the yard sign business.

Card My Yard exists to serve our communities with joy and partner with local organizations to help them celebrate. As the Premier Yard Greeting company, we strive to grow and expand while serving the needs of our customers. We specialize in custom yard signs for all celebrations. No one sign is the same. We create the design in your yard based on your specifications, graphics, colors, or theme requests. Our customer service and adding new inventory to offer something different when our customers return again. We are most proud that the brand itself has grown across the US to 450 plus franchises so no matter where you need a sign, you can order from us.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Grit! Having perseverance and passion for what we do every day. In addition, exceeding our customer’s expectations when it comes to our service.
