Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazzmen Black.
Jazzmen, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I moved to Atlanta four years ago with the idea of a better life & opportunity. I’m from North Philadelphia & cost of living wasn’t matching my income. I was struggling & always breaking even, never having enough money to invest in my goals or ideals. Once I moved to Atlanta many doors opened for me. Not only was I able to affordable my living but also invest in my ideals! my online store & my YouTube channel. I even had two office spaces near downtown Atlanta. I accomplished so much here in Atlanta. I am so happy I made the move here four years ago. I am now currently a YouTuber with over 200,000 subscribers & MILLIONS of views! I have fans lol still funny to believe people know who I am in public. My online store is taking a creative pause, I have another direction I would like to take it 🙂 #stayTuned. I have other ideas in the works! Future looking very bright right now.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a rough journey but I stayed so focus on my destination I didn’t let it get to me. It’s like running towards the finish line & people are in your way, you just move around but stay looking forward. Thats exactly how my life has been. If you have faith in your destination if you focus on that destination all the obstacles will sometimes set you back & thats ok because where you are supposed to be isn’t going anywhere! So take your time.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
My company is myself as a brand & Youtuber JAZZMEN BLACK. I also have my online store BELLE SOCIETY & other ideals in the works. Just these two alone take up majority of my creative energy & time.
There might be a small detail I may have left out… I am an exotic dancer which has switch to part-time since so many things have been working in my favor 🙂 My YouTube channel took off because of my transparent content about what goes on in urban STRIP CLUBS all over the world & my experiences.
I am most proud of myself… I can’t believe the things I have survived & pulled myself out of. I am proud that I stood my ground & continued to believe in my dream even when it didn’t seem so believable.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
The proudest moment of my career was accomplishing my first office space & my 2nd proudest moment for my YouTube success was receiving my plaque from YouTube for reaching over 100,000 subscribers!
