I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Entrepreneurship is always a challenging game to play. I believe being consistent and persistent with any goal requires a lot of energy and focus. However, when we establish discernment to make wise decisions in life and have the will power to become successful will shall reach the ultimate goal. Living a happy and full life, with confidence in our own skin and having the confidence to achieve anything. The possibilities are endless.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I started in fashion at a very young age. I decided retail was going to be ideal for getting my fresh start in the business. Starting off a an Assistant Marketing manager at 2 of the largest retail chains in the US. I learned a lot throughout my 10+ year tenure. I learned how demographics and location can make or break a vision. I went to school for Business Marketing at FAMU, whom also trained me on the business side of my career. Once I had my daughter, I decided to make a career change to becoming a young professional. I worked as an Associate with big named companies that were considered, to be top of their game at the time.
J Spot Clothing inspires, blending style with practicality, for people who need to look polished yet feel comfortable and express their personality through their clothes. For those with visual interest while still keeping the overall look professional but sexy.
What sets me apart from others is the fact that I love building new relationships and connecting with people. I take the initiative to understanding the needs of a consumer and building a brand that relates to our community with my own personal touch.
