Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenifer Thach.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my business a little over a year ago. I started out just doing lashes but I knew I wanted to expand and add more services for my clients and eventually being a one-stop shop for them. That’s when I began practicing and doing nails. Beauty has always been a focus for me because I love the industry and I love making my clients feel their inner beauty is showing on the outside as well. I plan on attending beauty school or esthetician school to get my license and be able to add even more services to the list!
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road the entire journey but it’s definitely worth it. I am a full-time student as well as full-time mom, so my availability is a bit challenging at times. I did work a 9-5 in the midst of all these things. However, I quit in December and haven’t been back ever since. All I can say is it’s just a bad day, not a bad life.
Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I am a Certified Lash Stylists as well as a self-taught nail artist. I am most proud of the personal time and care that I get to give is that I only take appts. I take pride in every full set of lashes & nails that I do as well as every fill-in even if it wasn’t my original work. I believe what sets me apart from other artists is my drive and passion. I’m always looking for new ideas and new techniques to become better and constantly challenging myself to go to the next level.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is when you can feel yourself growing and no matter what the growth is for that day, whether it be money, a new client, or even just being a better stylist than yesterday, that’s what success is to me.
