Meet Jenna Aronowitz of 1920 Tavern

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenna Aronowitz.

Hi Jenna, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Jenna and Howard started their journey into the restaurant industry at Atlanta Bread company, being franchisees for 16 years. Almost 11 years ago we decided it was time to go on our own and created 1920 Tavern.
For us 1920 Tavern is a true labor of love reflected in every detail, from knowing customers by name to creating a warm, welcoming space where people can eat, drink, and unwind. Far from our original home, we understood the universal pull of comfort food and inviting spaces.

1920 Tavern celebrates the present with modern interpretations of globally inspired classics, brought to life through fresh-to-table creations.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As we all know the restaurant industry is one of the hardest industries, you have to be a jack of all trades, a leader, a parent to your employees and a friends to your customers.
We are extremely fortunate to have an incredible team and amazing guests .
The best part of this business are the people and the worst part of this business are the people

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about 1920 Tavern?
1920 is a fine dining Tavern located in the middle of the Roswell historic district.
We pride ourselves on our stellar customer service and our made from scratch- farm to table Kitchen.
We are not just a restaurant, we are a home for our staff and our community. It’s a place that always knows your name when you walk in the door, and are greeted with the same genuine staff and owner every day.
We are not a typical restaurant, we are proud to have 70% regulars and 30% new guests, who always turn into regulars .
Our menu is extremely diverse, it is that way so that everyone can find something to eat no matter if they have allergies, dietary restrictions or just plain picky ( like our children)
We are so proud and grateful to be apart of an incredible community.
We always get involved in our community anyway we can and return they support us.

Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Unfortunately I don’t have much time to do much , running and owning a restaurant and having two kids and no family doesn’t leave much time for anything
