Today we’d like to introduce you to Jennifer Crosby.
Jennifer, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta in Interior Design in 1992. Started my company 20 years ago this January!
Boutique size full-service interior design firm with two studio’s, Commercial studio off Piedmont Park in midtown and Residential studio in downtown Roswell. Our focus is client relationship and always designing for the specific project, never repeating concepts. Currently designing over 3o Multifamily, 55+ and Student Housing projects throughout the southeast. We recently redesigned our Residential Design studio in Roswell to better facilitate our designers meeting with Home Builders and their clients making all interior & exterior selections for multiple subdivisions throughout metro Atlanta. In addition to our studio’s design capabilities, we also provide full turn-key merchandising services. We specify/design furniture, space plan, procure, receive and install many Amenities and Models throughout the Southeast. Award-winning design firm and years of building relationships. Also, CDG gives back each year to our favorite 501 (c) charity, Sunshine on a Ranney Day where I serve on the board and we build accessible bathrooms, dream bedrooms and in-home therapy rooms for children with special needs and restoring hope for families.
Has it been a smooth road?
Had to reinvent myself during the downturn and build my Companies again. Thankfully having many friends in the industry, recommendations allowed us to really grow organically and 10 years later, here we are!!

Having a Residential and a Commercial side of the Company gives CDG a unique business model. My role is building client relationships and bringing projects to our team. As President & CEO, leadership role to promote a very Entrepreneurial environment where each designer owns their own position. You are only as good as your last project and we have worked extremely hard as a team to develop proven methods to ensure our processes are in place to support our designs. Communicating our design intent through technology is also key, in our Residential Design Center, the designers are now using Chief Architect. We produce full (ID) Interior Design Construction documents in Revit 2020. Our reputation is vital to the success of the firm. I am very proud when walking a completed project with an Owner who is thrilled with our execution & design!! Having your work become 3D from a set of plans or selection sheet is very rewarding!!
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Midtown in the heart of Atlanta in my opinion. We are fortunate enough to be a small part of the rebirth of Colony Square, so exciting for the city!!
