Meet Jeremy Hagan of Black Creative Mind in Savannah

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Hagan.

Jeremy, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Jeremy Hagan I’m from Savannah Ga and I’m twenty-five years old. I published my first book on Sep 6, 2018. You can purchase my book on amazon today. The name of my book is World War 3 Me Vs. My Past. In 2018 someone I love so deeply committed suicide and it changed me forever. Later that year I was accused of a crime, but a few months into the investigation I was proven innocent. My book is about my life and my experience of battling depression and anxiety. I knew one day I’ll walk away from all of this pain and share my story with the world. You can purchase my book on amazon today.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This has been a roller coaster ride for me. I’ve been dealing with mix emotions along this journey. My biggest struggle is letting go of old habits. I love the ghetto because my environment made me a man, but I know it’s important for me to move on.

Please tell us about your work.
I’m the CEO of the Black Creative Mind record label. We do back to school drives every year, pay for children’s haircuts every month, and we make sure we give back to our community. I’m proud of this label because we have started a powerful movement in our city and we’re creating unity among each other. What sets this label apart from others is that we believe in God and we know without him none of this is possible.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success doesn’t have a price tag attached to it. Success is a feeling within that makes your soul cry tears of joy because everything you dreamed of as a child has been conquered before you leave earth. The number one marker is being effective to others and saving souls.
