Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeremy Smith.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I originally started training others after I decided I was done playing football once my freshman year of college ended. I transferred from Alabama State University to the University of West Georgia; there, I began working out with a small group of friends.
Eventually, word got out that I was helping people reach their weight goals and I decided to take training seriously. Within the next year, I created my own brand which would go on to be known as “Remy’s Training Campaign”.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. In the past three years of maintaining my business, I have had to deal with obstacles such as business exploitation, adapting to dealing with people’s problems and keeping myself motivated.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the RTC- Remy’s Training Campaign story. Tell us more about the business.
Remy’s Training Campaign is all about helping people reach their physical goals: weight goals, performance in sports, etc. I specialize mainly in weight loss and football training. I also help out a lot with bodybuilding and sculpting.
I am most proud of how much my business has grown. I started out with a handful of people, and now have helped influence my school and have spread my services all across Atlanta.
RTC is different from other training programs because of the versatility I have with my clients. From cardio to weight gain, to training on the field, I try to cover it all. Also, I have greater plans for the future after I graduate college, so I feel as if I am in a good position since I am just starting out.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t believe in luck, everything I have accomplished has been prayed for and worked for.
