Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerry Dennard II.
Hi Jerry, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
JBeanz912 is Jerry Dennard II. Around 2013 I became disenfranchised with not being fulfilled just working a ‘good job’. I yearned for more. I began recalling what brought me the most joy. My time growing up playing different instruments and marching in band came to mind. Having put them all down in exchange for adult life, I was at an em pass. In 2016, I made a choice that led me to Full Sail University. After completing my studies in Audio Production and Entertainment Business I am now able to fully appreciate my passion and desire to create great music and productions.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I began college while still in high school while performing with the Concert Choir there for most of my senior year. I and then enjoyed several years of enrichment at Savannah State University. While there, I studied Biology, Computer Science, and a bit of Political Science. In addition to my studies, I was also a member of the SSU Cheerleading Team while there. At some point, I realized I wasn’t really ready to settle on a career and began working in varied industries from Customer Care to Warehouse Logistics. Along the way, I also attended Barbering College as well as sought out various entrepreneurial ventures based on skills I grew up with within my family offering Light Construction and Remodeling.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Having a heart for people and my craft is one of my most enduring characteristics. I have not always been the best version of myself. And as most do, I strive to be a better me each day. My heart for people is based in my experiences in life and being able to literally place myself in their shows rather than compare my own. Doing thing’s from my heart has always endeared people to me whether I was doing what was best for myself or not.
