Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica Medina.
Jessica, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I started in Miami working in various networks and Spanish doing a lot of commercials and I was a spokesperson for different companies in Spanish I had my first audition for a film with Forest Whitaker Call vipaka and I booked it. Forest Whitaker advised me that if I was serious and the film industry and I wanted to have a career also as an actress I have to move to Los Angeles, California so I listen to him and I move there and I study with different teachers coach everything I can have my hands on becoming a better actress after all those classes I met one of my best friends Writer Director Ben Ramzey and he saw potential and me. And advise me to create my own content which I did he also sold that I could be a great action actress.
And I started training martial arts but seeing how to shoot a gun everything that I can learn to become an action star. And now, I do my own stunts. I am also writing and producing my own content.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been easy but I will never change it because it makes me the woman that I am today strong and confident in a woman of God.
Please tell us more about what you do, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I have a production company name unique trouble makers and we want to create unique content.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
The most important thing is perseverance this is not a sprint it’s a long journey and never stop keep going.
