Meet Jim Lewis of Vision Stairways and Millwork in Woodstock

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jim Lewis.

Based in Woodstock, Georgia, Vision Stairways & Millwork was established in 2009 during one of the largest construction slowdowns in history. “When things started to change in our industry, I knew it was time to go to customers with new and fresh ideas and a one stop shop for Stairs and Doors.” Jim Lewis had 25+ years of construction knowledge and worked for the same stair company for 19 years.

Vision’s manufactures and provides products to Local Builders, Homeowners, Remodelers and Designers with many new and improved designs (pre-built curve, straight, flare and spiral stairs, and all types of stock and custom stair parts along with stock and custom Mahogany front entry doors) nationwide.

Vision’s corporate office is located in Atlanta, GA but offers their products and services through local branches located in Raleigh NC., Asheville, NC, Charleston, SC., and Myrtle Beach SC.

What have been some of the challenges?

Building a new brand.

Finding good craftsmen in the industry.

Proving your value to new customers.

Building a strong team

Stairs are highly regulated in the building industry. “The largest cause of accidents in your home…stairs. ” We are certified stair builders and belong to the (SMA) Stair builders and Manufacturers Association the largest organization for stair safety and current building code changes.

Our Mission Statement: To create unique and innovating home building components through the ability and vision of our employees to the satisfaction of our customers.

We offer a turn-key product. We manufacture, install and finish products we provide. We have a great sales team, operations team and we are focused on making customers refer Vision Stairways and Millwork / Tango Door to friends and family.
