Today we’d like to introduce you to Jin And Christine Lee
Hi Jin and Christine, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
We are a husband and wife photography team based in Duluth, GA.
Jin, originally from South Korea, and Christine, from Southern California. We met in Georgia, fell in love and decided to put down roots, grow a family, and build our photography business together.
Jin began his career as a product photographer, while Christine holds a BFA in the arts. Our shared passion for creativity and photography led us to naturally merge our talents, and that’s how our photography business was born.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
What started as a dream and vision for creativity has turned into something truly special for Jin and me.
Our journey to this point has been filled with growth and learning. We began as freelance photographers, then created an at-home studio before finally taking the leap to open our own studio space.
Opening the studio was a huge step forward, and it felt like both a risk and an exciting opportunity. It was nerve-wracking not knowing if we could turn our dream into reality, but it was also a thrilling time as we designed and built the space, envisioning it as a place to capture beautiful memories.
Along the way, we’ve met so many incredible people, and many have become dear friends.
We’ve been so blessed to photograph engagements and weddings, and then watch those couples build a family. To see them bring their precious babies into our studio and watch those children grow year after year is truly amazing. Being a part of these milestones and capturing memories that last a lifetime is something we cherish every day.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We specialize in baby, family, headshot, real estate, engagement, and wedding photography.
Our studio is designed with two distinct sections. One area is bright and airy, an open space with soft natural light, perfect for capturing natural moments. The other space is set up for flash-based photography, offering a more controlled environment. We also offer a wide variety of props, setups, and backgrounds to help create the perfect atmosphere for every session.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
There’s always uncertainty, For us, opening the studio was a big risk, putting in time, money, and effort without knowing how it would turn out was nerve-wracking. But it has paid off by giving us a space to be creative and grow our business. we feel so blessed to be doing something we love.
