Meet Joey The Sequel

Today we’d like to introduce you to Joey The Sequel.

Hi Joey, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi My Name is JoeyTheSequel, I am a singer/producer for The Sequel Entertainment/1201 Entertainment. I was born and raised on the south side of Flint MI and I’ve been living in Lawrenceville Ga for 10 years now. I’ve been singing and producing since I was 14 years old

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Not it has not lol!!! I had a lot of people who didn’t believe in me nor my sound that I was trying to share with the world.. they only stuck with what was popular and wouldn’t take a chance on me. They didn’t know what type of producer I was so I got overlooked a lot!!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a music producer/engineer. I’m mostly known for my production, which is was I love doing. I’ve done work with artists such as lil Zane, Jim Jones, Superstar producer Jazzie Phae, Lil Scrappy, This Life. We Lead. New up and coming artist Cijana, also a new artist by the name of Trve whose project just dropped in November, I’ve worked with the legendary producer Teddy Riley with was like a dream come true, the list goes on and on.

I’m proud of working with my brother his name is RBN Joe’l. Just seeing his growth into A superstar!!!! He’s a true artist and when him and I work we always deliver that fire, you can call us Quincy and Michael reincarnated lol!!

What are your plans for the future?
I’m looking forward to dropping my own project and owning my own major label. I also want to open up and change of performing arts schools for the youth.
