Today we’d like to introduce you to John Alford.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
It all started when I was about 9 or 10 years old, my dad had a Mechanic shop which was call Alford’s Complete Auto! There were times customer cars tires would be very dirty so I would clean one just to see if I could get it cleaned! So, when I got in trouble, my dad used to make clean his car but he noticed I like cleaning cars! So, he said this not a good punishment for you cause I see you like doing this! So, customers used to asked my dad who cleaned his car and he would say, my son! So, they started paying me to clean their cars $15 & $20 back in the early ’90s.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s been a smooth journey even on rainy days! People in the parking decks they just want their car cleaned! Believe it or not, the winter time is busier than the summer.
World Class Mobile Detailing – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I do mobile detailing all around the city of Atlanta, I’ve been mobile since 2016 but I been detailing since I was 13! I’m known for “That Class.” I’d be proud of the looks on my clients face after I’m done with their vehicle! I don’t separate my self from others! I link up with other retailers! I’m a part of DOA Detailers Of Atlanta.
