Meet Jordan Stinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordan Stinson.

Hi Jordan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Taylor and I met when I was producing the first film he was directing. We never met prior but definitely connected on the feature creatively. During the final stages of filming, we discussed on creating a production company that would produce entertainment across multiple medias. We met other collaborators along the way and aim of one day operating a company that allows talented individuals to fill out multiple different avenues of entertainment across all media.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Our first project Mystic Cinema made was between 2019-2020. Lots of new elements were thrown not just for our first feature but the world around us. We were so deep and committed to the project that we really felt like a tribe. The world was so chaotic and uncertain. But when we had our night shoots, the world was ours. Nothing else mattered but the performances we had to make in order to make this project be what we believed it was. It was an experience that affected everyone involved and was an accomplishment from a wonderful cast and crew.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Mystic Cinema has worked in producing Feature films, Short Films, Music Videos, Commercials, and other forms of media entertainment. We try to have an emphasis on originality and unique creative narratives. Our first venture was our feature film “Pandemonium” which is a modern re-telling of “Dante’s Inferno” in Cleveland. We also have had two short films, “WAY & WARD” and “The Heart Wants.” We are striving and always working on building a narrative that truly stands apart from the rest.

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
We have been very fortunate with the power of collaboration. We create a healthy and equal space for ideas to be heard. “Everyone is an audience member,” so constructive ideas are always welcomed and considered. It seems to be the most natural and healthy way to look at it. We believe the cast and crew are on the same team, to solve one equation “How to entertain you all!”
