Meet Jordon Wells of Cartersville, GA

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jordon Wells.

Hi Jordon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m 21 years old. I’ve played sports my whole life and played football through high school. I’ve also always loved editing pictures and videos. From making school hype videos to editing teammate’s photos to look cool. I first picked up a camera when I was a senior in high school. I wanted to take pictures for my personal use, and then I started taking pictures of my friends. I would always try to avoid the “photographer” label because I never thought I could be one. I eventually grew past it and started charging people like $10 for a photoshoot to make some money from it. I eventually decided to start working with models and take it to the next level. I met my Jorven Byrd in 2020 and asked him if he wanted to do a quick photoshoot. We made some magic and after that, I fell in love with photography. Jorven and I would brainstorm ideas for photoshoots, and would go shoot it. Since then, I started taking it seriously and haven’t looked back since. I love and appreciate everyone who’s supported me and helped me get to where I am today. I thank God everyday for putting me in these situations and helping me find a career that I love. There’s still a lot of work to be done but I couldn’t be any more grateful.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Gaining confidence in myself was definitely a challenge for me. I’ve always thought there were too many photographers in the world for me to stand out. That held me back for the longest. And still holds me back some to this day. But I’ve trusted in God everyday up until this point and he hasn’t let me down, so why would he let me down now?

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a photographer who specializes in fashion and conceptual photography. I’m known for bringing photos to life in creative ways. I bring a different vibe to each set of photos which I believe sets me apart from others.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
I’m never satisfied with my work. I always think I can do better. I’m constantly trying to find ways to make my photography better than the previous day.
