Hi Joy, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Wow, where do I start? Grew in an environment where I constantly heard negativity about money, people, place and things. I developed a poverty mentality. I couldn’t see beyond my back yard. As I grew older, I realized not only did I have a poverty mentality but I was a negative person. I struggled half of my adult life, rob Peter to Paul, lived in the red and just had a stinking thinking. The mindset shift started with sacrificing tv for a year, mentorship and growing deeper in my faith. One of the M in my 3 M’s to Success in Touch of Joy Consulting Company is mindset. When you change your mind, you change your life. Everything we do to help business owners maximize and monetize (other 2 M’s), it all starts from mindset.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Nope, but it’s been a worth it road. My beginning struggles was not understanding the power of business credit, building a team and mindset.
