Today we’d like to introduce you to Julian Green.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
My name is Julian Green, and I am an actor/model currently living in the metro Atlanta area. I got my start in the industry right out of high school. I had just started doing theatre, and I was enrolled in college for the fall semester, but lots of people told me that I should get into modeling. In August of 2011, I took my shot at modeling and was able to find my first agent in the Atlanta market, and from there I started my acting career as well.
While doing modeling and acting, I continued to go to school full time and received my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Health Science with a minor in Italian. Currently, I have agents both in Atlanta and Los Angeles and have had the pleasure of working with clients like Coca-Cola, Belk, Adidas, Church’s Chicken, and many others. I got to where I am today by being consistent, setting goals, and always being willing to learn.
Has it been a smooth road?
This road has definitely not been a smooth one. First, there were the complications of being a full-time student at Kennesaw State University not to mention being a science major. I had to choose between auditions and going to class sometimes. I took makeup tests in order to make things work, but It didn’t always work well. Also things like agency relations, keeping a fit body, Acting expenses, and having a skin condition.
We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I am a full-time Actor and model. As an actor, I do TV/Film and commercial. I have been in 6 commercials and have starred in Two tv Shows. I am most known for starring as Dominic on the show “Fatal Attraction” season 6 Episode 5. The project I am most proud of has to be my first Coca-Cola commercial because they are home.
As a model, I do commercial, fitness, lifestyle, and fashion modeling. My biggest jobs were coca cola again (lol) and Hibbett Sports because I was featured on billboards across the country and all over the internet. What sets me apart from the others is I can fit anywhere in the industry. I pride myself on my ability to adapt to whatever I have been given.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
The Atlanta Acting Industry has definitely changed since I started 8years ago. The amount of work in this city has grown, and an actor can truly support themselves. Atlanta is the perfect city to start out acting or Modeling. As stated before, I act in LA as well, and I can say Atalanta really prepared me for the city.
