Shortly after college, Julian signed his first of three professional baseball contracts with the Fort Worth Cats of the United League, where he posted a .324 Batting Average and played alongside “Batting title champion” Julio Franco in 2014. In 2015, Julian signed a contract to play for the Ellensburg Bulls of the Mt. Rainier League, prior to the league folding only weeks into the season. In 2016, Julian played in the Puerto Rico Winter League, where he was fourth in the league, posting a .488 batting avg. In 2016, Julian signed his third contract with the Eastside Diamond Hoppers of the United Shores Professional Baseball league but was later released. Three contracts later and an after battling injuries, Julian decided to end his pursuit of Professional baseball and now owns Juiced Up Athletics, a Traveling Sports training company that travels around training the youth in Baseball, Softball, and other areas of fitness.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The road hasn’t been easy. It takes a lot to build up enough consistent clientele. I had been doing lessons for three years before I decided to launch my business in 2018. In the early stages, your ultimate focus is getting people to trust you with their child’s growth in baseball and softball. It is even harder when you are “black in baseball” to get people to want to work with you at times, even though I still had former professional baseball experience.

Please tell us about Juiced Up Athletics.
Juiced Up Athletics is a Mobile sports training company that travels around and provides lessons, camps and clinics for youth at an affordable price. We are known for High-Intensity training that will surely take your child to the next level. We focus on going to areas Who have children that may not have the finances to afford top-level training at facilities. We offer the opportunity to travel to their area and provide quality training at a more affordable cost compared to our competitors. I am most proud of the amount of kids juice stop athletics has developed enough to play baseball or softball on a collegiate level. We also have produced two Junior All-Americans and the very first client ever is a 2-time State Champion, as well as the starting catcher since his Sophomore year at Andrean High School. We produce Top notch players in our program.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
I don’t think “luck” has played a role in my life at all. I believe everything happens for a reason and God has made sure he opens doors for me and the things he doesn’t want me to be a part of the closes those doors.
