Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Lee and Austin Fleury.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Justin and Austin. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
My brother and I were born into the real estate business. Our mother exposed us to entrepreneurship at a very young age. As a single mother, she made it a point to instill us with all of the values needed to be successful entrepreneurs focused on passion, hustle, and motivation. We have come to realize that all industries have their pros and cons, but real estate is less volatile. As New Orleans natives we witnessed our mother play real-life monopoly by purchasing city blocks, lots, and distressed property after Hurricane Katrina. Growing up during one of the most devastating hurricanes in history, we witnessed our home and the homes of our loved ones destroyed and made completely bare overnight. My brother and I slept on bare floors with no carpet and endured nights some would call a nightmare. This experience has been a driving force behind our motivation to build houses and provide affordable luxurious homes for others. We fell in love with the freedom, flexibility, and income that real estate provided our family and as a result formed the Property Bruhz in 2017.
Has it been a smooth road?
“Life for me ain’t been no crystal stair.” – Big Brother Langston Hughes said it best in his poem Mother to Son. Life for me has not been smooth, it has been filled with splinters, and boards torn up. Growing up during one of the most devastating hurricanes in history, we witnessed our home and the homes of our loved ones destroyed and made completely bare overnight. My brother and I slept on bare floors with no carpet and endured nights some would call a nightmare. This experience has been a driving force behind our motivation to build houses and provide affordable homes with crystal stairs for others. We have been able to create our own crystal stair in Atlanta that we once dreamed of like Langston Hughes. Even though we fell we never gave up. We continue to climb that stair even today as we expand our real estate empire. As we strive to reach our ultimate goal of creating generational wealth, we foresee more bumps in the road. However, we welcome the challenges and will never allow them to turn us back.
Tell us more about the company.

In addition, The Property Bruhz is also a one-stop-shop for all business needs by providing financing, construction, real estate agents, grant writing, credit repair, accounting, business formation, photography services, and more. It is more than just a company, it is a lifestyle brand. As a brand, The Property Bruhz are able to influence the culture and provide opportunities for all people. The company is most proud of being able to employ people of all ages and backgrounds who are willing to learn and develop a new skill. By offering YouTube tutorials as well as one on one coaching sessions The Property Bruhz are invested in uplifting the community’s morale, as well as providing the knowledge of the members that occupy it.
How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
In the next 5-10 years, we forecast gentrification across the nation impacting minority communities. Unfortunately, this will result in outside corporate investors penetrating into vulnerable communities. These greedy corporate investors are not committed to developing these communities. Alternatively, by being driven solely by the profit they are purchasing homes from the less fortunate and stripping the community of its culture.
Our plan is to continue to acquisition homes in these areas and place our people back in there new and improved communities. We plan to continue to develop our communities with the help of our people for our people.
