Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Shipp.
Hi Justin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Justin Shipp is a real estate entrepreneur and the driving force behind Kaotic Real Estate Solutions, a Georgia-based investment company that specializes in helping homeowners navigate challenging situations from distressed properties and pre-foreclosures to probate, repairs, and quick sales. As CEO, Justin has guided his business to buy and sell hundreds of homes, bringing creative solutions and personalized support to clients who feel overwhelmed by the traditional market.
Justin’s journey into real estate wasn’t planned. After losing a job and facing uncertainty over 10 years ago, he turned a personal challenge into opportunity by diving headfirst into real estate investing. With no formal background in the industry, he taught himself the ins and outs of property deals, financing, and creative real estate strategies, quickly turning passion and hustle into a thriving business. Over the years, he has purchased and sold hundreds of properties and built a reputation for guiding people “from kaos to Kaotic Solutions.”
In addition to running Kaotic Real Estate Solutions, Justin is a licensed Realtor with Porch Property Group, LLC, where he helps buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals with integrity and local market knowledge. He’s affectionately known in the community as “The Kaotic Realtor” a nod to both his brand and his energetic, solution-first approach to real estate.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all……it’s been anything but a smooth road, Hence Kaotic!
Justin Shipp’s journey into real estate was built through pressure, setbacks, and a lot of uncomfortable learning curves.
Early on, he faced financial uncertainty, limited resources, and the challenge of breaking into an industry where credibility takes time to earn. He had Deals fall apart. Contractors failed him. Some early mistakes cost money, time, and sleep. There were moments when quitting would’ve been a way easier option.
On top of that, navigating distressed properties meant working with homeowners who were often stressed, emotional, and facing life-altering situations……foreclosures, probate, divorces, and homes that needed major repairs.
Balancing empathy with business decisions was a constant challenge.
What kept him moving forward was resilience and adaptability. Every struggle became a lesson. Every loss sharpened his strategy. Over time, Justin learned how to create solutions where others saw chaos, building systems and processes , relationships, and a reputation for honesty and hustle.
Those struggles are exactly what shaped The Kaotic RES and Kaotic Realtor brand today: real, gritty, solution-driven, and rooted in helping people through tough moments, not just closing deals for a dollar!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At the core of my work is solving problems through real estate. I’m the owner of Kaotic Real Estate Solutions and a Realtor with Porch Property Group, working with homeowners, buyers, sellers, and investors across a wide range of situations, especially the tough ones. I specialize in distressed properties, creative solutions, off-market deals, and helping people navigate complex scenarios like foreclosure, probate, inherited homes, major repairs, or time-sensitive sales.
What I’m most known for is being the wild, crazy, Kaotic guy in real estate and backing that personality with results.
I’ve built a strong reputation for high-level marketing, bold branding, and creative strategies that get properties and businesses noticed in crowded markets. I don’t blend in, and neither do the homes or deals I represent. That energy, visibility, and willingness to think outside the box is what got me where im at today!
What I’m most proud of isn’t just the volume of deals, but the impact behind them. Helping families get relief from stressful situations, helping sellers move forward with confidence, and helping buyers and investors win through smart exposure and strategy that’s what matters most to me, plus its fun….
What sets me apart is experience combined with fearless creativity. I didn’t come from a polished corporate real estate background. I built this through trial, setbacks, and persistence. That journey shaped how I market, how I negotiate, and how I connect with people. I don’t just buy or sell houses, I bring attention, energy, and real solutions to an industry that is normally Dull and Boring.
What’s next?
Looking ahead, my plans are really about staying true to my roots while continuing to grow locally. I’m not focused on chasing trends or trying to become something I’m not. The goal is to keep doing what’s worked….flipping houses, helping clients, and being a great Realtor, just on a bigger scale right here in the communities I know best.
I plan to take on more local projects and more clients, especially deals that need creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on attention. I enjoy being involved from start to finish, and I want to keep that personal touch as I grow rather than stretching too far or losing what makes my approach different.
Down the road, I’m open to opening additional companies or expanding into related businesses if it makes sense and aligns with what I already do. But overall, the mission stays the same: solve real problems through real estate, flip houses the right way, market aggressively, and represent clients with honesty, energy, and results.
What I’m most looking forward to is continuing to build something solid and lasting doing the same work I love, helping more people, and proving that consistency, creativity, and staying authentic can take you a long way in this business.
