Meet Justina Jefferson of ATL Brunch Spots in Midtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justina Jefferson.

Justina, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I noticed that there were a lot of food bloggers on social media in Atlanta. I prefer brunch, so I decided to look up “Atlanta Brunch Spots” in the search section on Instagram. While searching online, there were not many pages that focused only on brunch. When I saw that no one had the name atlbrunchspots, I decided, why not make my own food page?

I created the account and honestly didn’t start using it until two weeks after creating it. After making a few posts, I noticed that there were new followers every day. The best part is that I went to new brunch spots and was able to share my experiences with everyone! A year later, I have over 1000 followers and it’s continuously growing.

Has it been a smooth road?
Starting a new social media page can always be difficult to gain followers and figuring out what content gets the most attention. A big struggle is making sure that the page stays active.

We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
Atlbrunchspots is an Instagram page that shares brunch spots in Atlanta, Georgia. My main focus is to find great brunch places inside and outside of the perimeter. There are many places in Atlanta that cater to all diet types and have diverse food choices aside from the typical breakfast items, and I plan on finding as many as possible!

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Of course! Atlanta has new restaurants that pop up everywhere and there are restaurants who create new menu items all the time!

If someone were to start a blog or social media account on food, Atlanta is one of the best places to begin!
